Description:

Abstract:

This digital dataset represents the surface drainage for the Arbuckle-Simpson Aquifer Study Area. The dataset was obtained from the Spatial and Environmental Information Clearinghouse (SEIC) at Oklahoma State University as part of the Oklahoma Water Quality Standards project. SEIC obtained the dataset from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission (OCC). The was no metadata documentation accompanied with this dataset. Through verbal communication with the OCC it was determined that the streams were digitized from USGS 1:100,000 scale topographic maps. SEIC added the attribute information pertaining to the Oklahoma Water Quality Standards.

Purpose:

The purpose of this dataset is to show the geographic location of streams in the Arbuckle-Simpson Aquifer Study Area and the Water Quality Standards associated with each stream segment.
