Abstract:

This shapefile represents well locations on the Hunton anticline area of the Arbuckle-Simpson Aquifer where periodic depth-to-water measurements (from the land surface) have been acquired for the purposes of the Arbuckle-Simpson Hydrology Study. Depth-to-water measurements (from land surface) are reported in feet and were obtained utilizing a standard steel tape or a Solinst electric water-level meter (model 101). The OWRB has used this data to construct seasonal potentiometric maps as well as seasonal water-level change maps.

Data can be viewed and retrieved through the OWRB well driller website using the specific well identification number. Additional information of the characteristics of each well site can also be obtained through the website. The period of data collection is from March 2005 to December 2006.

Purpose:

This shapefile indicates well locations of periodic groundwater-level measurements obtained by trained OWRB staff in the Arbuckle-Simpson aquifer.
