OWRB Strategic Plan
In September 1999, the OWRB commenced
development of the agency's first Strategic Planning document. Members
of the OWRB management team met numerous times for more than a year
to further develop the agency's mission, vision and strategy regarding
the fulfillment of its directive -- i.e., the management and protection
of Oklahoma's surface and groundwater water resources. Strengthened
by increased input from Water Board staff, the original document has
again been updated to include new sets of priorities specifically
for the coming fiscal years.
The updated OWRB Strategic Plan is a dynamic,
"living" document that not only provides direction for the
agency, but demonstrates the substantial commitment and dedication
of agency staff in providing safe and dependable water supplies for
all Oklahomans, both today and in the future.
